The production of footwear is a complex process due to the large number of steps involved. This workshop handles all stages of production, from pattern-making and cutting to assembling and constructing the shoes. This is our primary jersey supplier, with whom we have collaborated since our initial capsules. Established in 1986, the company has stayed within the family, now led by the founder’s daughter. The company operates vertically and has a large structure; it is the largest atelier we work with. We maintain a close relationship with them, and they have consistently supported us from the very beginning. Portugal has sustained a robust textile industry, with most ateliers adapting to new times and technologies.
The company has several subsidiaries that cover all the garment production process needs: fabric manufacturing, dyeing, printing, and laundry. Within their factory, they make the patterns for our garments, create the first prototypes, and cut the fabric for all our productions. They also carry out the ironing and final quality checks in-house. However, they outsource some processes, such as assembly, printing, and dyeing. This company has many facilities that allow us to conduct R&D, including new fabrics, patterns, and dyes.
